Treeshill , 'Trees new farm' formed from parts of Knowe and Townhead, 1773. In 1808 it was let by James Pedin, formerly in Knowe.

1826 baptism Robert Peden son to James Peden and Agnes Magie was born at Treeshill  of this parish on 1st Sep 1826 and baptised  on the 24th following by Mr Boyd

The 1851 census for Treeshill has John Peden 33, and his wife Elizabeth (Sloan)  30, with two small children Jean and George.  John is listed as an agricultural labourer and Elizabeth as a hand sewer.
The 1861 census shows John Wallace 49 Land Steward occupying Treeshill with his wife Jane 36 (Lammie), son John 12, son Robert 11, dtr Janet 8, son James 6, son William 4, dtr Margaret 2 and 1 female domestic servant.
The 1871 census shows John Wallace 59 Land Steward, wife Jane 46, sons Robert 21 a grocer's man, William 14, Thomas 10, George 6, Mungo 1 and daughters Margaret 12, Mary J. 8, Jessie 3 and 1 female domestic servant.
1881 census, John Wallace 69, Land Steward, and wife Jane 55. They were both born in Sorn, and have three children at Treeshill, Mary Jane 17, George 15, apprentice ironmonger, and Mungo11.

The 1891 census shows John McEwen 39 Land Steward now occupying Treeshill with his wife Jessie 32, son Alexander 8, dtr Mary 7, son Donald 4 and 1 female general servant.
The 1901 census show Treeshill House now being occupied by retired farmer William Smith 64 (previously Thirdpart farm), wife Helen 64 (Peden), son William 32 minister of Established Church (no charge) and daughter Jane 24 housekeeper.
