John Murdoch mason, wife Mary (Caldwell), son James (Farm servant), 3 daughters and 1 son.
NB. the entire family emigrated to Canada in 1854. One son died on the ship and was buried at sea. Father John Murdoch  died of cholera on the day they arrived in Hamilton, Ontario.
