Daughter Helen 31 is housekeeper, son Hugh 27 is the ploughman, son James 25 is general servant, daughter Jane 23 is the domestic and daughter Agnes 21 is a general servant. A granddaughter is also on the farm, Mary Sharp 9. - There are some pictures of the Sharp family following the link on James' name.

1901 James Laurie 33 with wife Elizabeth 34 and daughters Margaret 5, Mary 4, and Helen under 1, and son John 1. Servant is Robina Montgomery14. - There may be a link here with the Sharp family who lived here in 1881. James Sharp's son Hugh, a ploughman married a Laurie (sister of James Laurie) and I believe Alexander Laurie married the Mary Sharp grand daughter of James Sharp and they emigrated to Canada in 1891.
