The 1841 census shows Adam Park 40 an agricultural labourer, his wife Margaret (Steele), 5 young children age 9yrs and under and Janet McKnight a female servant.
The 1851 census shows Margaret Park, dairymaid with 3 young childeren age 10yrs and under.
The 1861 census show James Hastings 30, a ploughman living there with his wife Williamina (Reid), 2 children ages 3 & 1, 1 female domestic servant and 1 visitor - John Riddel a schoolmaster.
The 1871 census shows James Hastings 40 a Farm Servant with his wife Wilhelmina and children Elizabeth 13, James 9, David 3 and Alexander 3 months. Also living with them is father-in-law James Reid a late farmer age 87 (previously Nethertown) and 1 female general servant.
The 1881 census has James Hastings 50, farm servant with his wife Wilhemina 50 and son David 13 living at Fordmouth. They have one general servant Janet Sharp 14, and two visitors, Jane Milligan 56 a dairy keeper and Agnes Wilson 23 a general domestic servant.
The 1891 census has brother David Hastings 64 farming along with his sister Janet (Jess) 58 and Sarah Murdoch a domestic servant.
The 1901 census shows David Hastings 73 retired farmer and his sister Janet 68.
Probate: 4/2/1908 Ayr
David Hastings farmer Fordmouth Farm New Cumnock died 25/10/1907 at Fordmouth Farm aforesaid testate. Conf granted at Ayr to David Hastings farmer North Boig New Cumnock his nephew executor dative qua legatee.
