A second household has William Smith 25, Jane 20, and Thomas under 1.
By 1855/57, Scotlands Places describes Crook as "The remains of an old farm house"
In the census, William Arthur is the tenant at Wellhill, and has a son, also William who may have been living at Crook

1855 tenant William Arthur. No further entries until 1920 when Mrs Sarah McKnight or Downie is shown as the proprietor of a house called Crookcott, Afton Bridgend, but nothing remains today of where Crook stood.
