NB. John Kay previously worked as a farm servant to Thomas Wardrop and married Thomas’s daughter Lizzie Wardrop in 1894 in Cumnock.
1911 census 1911 census has John Kay 52 farmer, Elizabeth Kay 56  married 16 years no children, Janet Hodge 19 dairymaid b Cumnock

David Stevenson ( Changue ) took  on  Crofthead in the  mid 1920s when the  Kerrs left  for  Duchra, Coylton

Amalgamated with Changue in 1979 when parlour was installed at Changue and the  two dairy herds combined.
