ROGERTON EAST OR FORE (L) which included BARBISTOUN was let to William Foster and to John Foster in 1787 and 1791 (OPR 16 July 1784 BFP 169, 2698: 1663) Its houses built in 1792, it was rented to George Alexander in1796 (BFP 168.2930:89ROGERTON, MIDDLE (M) was let to David Arthur , who was also in Back Rogerton.
ROGERTON, WEST, BACK OR BLACK (L) was let to William Dalrymple (1716-1782) and to Andrew Dalrymple in 1787. Dalrymple who also rented West Dalsalloch and land in Barnsdale, left Back Rogerton in 1788 and later rented Heiteth (OPR 12 Nov 1782, BRP 169

Thomas Love 16 is a domestic servant and ploughman, Elizabeth Tait 16 and Andrew Tait 14 are both general domestic servants. Updated
