Green Hill, Ochiltree - A small round hill rather prominent on which is a trig (trigonometrical) station. The east and south sides are rather steep and rocky and gives its name to a house adjacent the property of the Marquis of Bute - it affords tolerable good sheep pasture.

The 1891 Census shows shepherd Quintin Limond 45 still in Greenhill with his wife Ruth 45 and children Jeanie 12, Thomas 9, William 7 and David 5.
