1841 census shows Mary Campbell 60 and Joseph Riddle 20 farmers, James Riddle 25, George Riddle 15 apprentice wright, 1 female farm servant 15, 1 female farm servant 10, John Riddle 10 lodger and John Campbell 60 shoemaker.
1851 census shows Thomson Lammie 38 farmer of 100 acres employing 2 labourers, wife Jane (McKnight/McNaught) 26, 3 children John 5, Robert 3 and dtr Marion 1. 1 Male cowherd, 1 female house servant and 1 Male farm servant.
In December 1858 in the Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald, there is a wedding at Sunnyside.
The 1861 census shows Thomson Lammie 49 farming 124 acres along with his wife Jane 38, son John 14, son Robert 12, dtr Marion 10, dtr Margaret 8, dtr Mary 6 and dtr Jane 3, 1 ploughman and 1dairymaid.
The 1871 census shows Thomson Lammie 60 farming 112 acres 100 of ?? along with his wife Jean 50, son Robert 23 who works on the farm, Marion dtr age 21, dtr Margaret 19, dtr Mary 16, dtr Jane 13 and John Kirkland a boarder age 11.
The 1881 census shows that Sunnyside us now occupied by William Turnbull 30 a ploughman, his wife Jane and 5 children age 10 and under.
