The 1841 census shows Elizabeth Farquhar 75 proprietor with William Haddow 40 managing the farm, manservant John Scott 45, 2 male servants, 1 female farm servant and Sarah Rankin 20 (no status)
The 1851 census shows William Haddow 52 farmer of 135 acres emp 4 labourers. John Scott 57 his brother-in-law is a farm servant, his sister Mary Haddow 57 is housekeeper, his widowed aunt Elizabeth Rankine 89, Hannah Riddle 60 a dressmaker, 1 female house servant and 1 Male agricultural labourer.

The 1891 census shows David Weir 38 is now farming at Riggfoot Farm along with his sister Janet 32, 1 female servant Mary Stewart 19, and 1 male servant, John Pearson 15. They had moved here from Braehead, New Cumnock, where their parents still farmed. They took over Braehead by the next census.
