Little Changue, Old Cumnock

John lawful son of William Bryan and Elizabeth Lees in Little Changue was born 9th and baptised 16th March 1780
1786 
Janet lawful daughter to John Howat and Agnes Wyllie in Little Chang born 23rd and baptised the 26 Nov 1786

1881 census shows David Vallance 62 and wife Agnes 45 farming 4 acres employing son  Robert 18, and daughter Lilias 20.
The younger children are David 16, William 14, James 12, Alexander 10, Mary 8, and Agnes 2.

In 1871 David Vallance was at Little Changue cottage and 1891 at Little Changue farm before moving to nearby Glengyron farm by 1901. He died there in 1906.

Little Changue  amalgamated with Glengyron. David Vallance  (  d 1983 at  Glengyron ) was  the  son  of  James Vallance  in  the  Little  Changue   family  above. Little  Changue used  by  Cumnock Town Council as  a  landfill site  (  1930s?), filling  in  the  glen.

 Mid Changue  was a  small dwelling and enclosure  on  the  old  road  from Changue  to  Little  Changue  , which  disappeared by  the  20th  century.

 Little  Changue  and  Glengyron (  mostly  )  amalgamated  with  Changue  in  1983 (  October ).
