"The lands of Knockguldron and Heidmark, located on the southern extremity of the parish, and comprising unimproved moorland and peat bogs, was in 1899 the property of Hon Augustus Murray Cathcart of Brockloch. He lived at Mowbray House, Ripon. The lands were leased to James Pettigrew Wilson of Polquhairn."
