1871 John, Margaret and daughters are still at Waterton and have John Kilpatrick 52, ploughman, and George McMillan 14 farm servant.
1881 James Henderson 28 is sole occupier and farmer.
1891 David Henderson 70, joint farmer with his sons James 40, John 38, and George 36. Wife Mary is 63, and daughters Mary 22, and Maggie 17. Mary R Henderson is their grand daughter 2.
1901 The Hendersons are still at Waterton. David died, but Mary 71 is still living with her family as in the 1891 return.
