Thomas Irving 65 and wife Janet (Bell), 60 are farming with their family, William 30, George 25, Richard 20, and twins ? Alexander and John both 15.  Their youngest son is Thomas at 12, and they have an agricultural labourer David Martin 10.

In 1855 valuation roll there is East South and North  Grimgrew with John Hetterick the tenant of East Grimgrew
There are three Grimgrews at  least. The furthest South is  on  map  as East Grimgrew.
