1980s aerial picture looking south. The single  storey wing at  rear  would  be  the   farm dwelling and byre.  From the  1940s until 2003 it housed staff for Stevensons' Dairy Farms. Now redeveloped as  two  dwellings.

In the 1881 census Garrallan farm is occupied by Agnes Thomson 61 and her daughter Margaret 33.  Agnes' occupation is listed as a Bower, and Margaret is a dairymaid.
