1851 Andrew Bell 36 is a land steward with wife Susan 36 and daughters Margaret 10, Elizabeth 8, Helen 6, Mary 2, and sons  Robert 4 and John 1.  They have two servants Margaret White 18 and Mary Dugan 14.

John Tennant Senior They were all related to the industrialist who made a fortune with his invention of bleaching powder and established a chemical works in Glasgow.

1861 John Tennant 66, proprietor and farmer of 286 acres employing 4 labourers.  His wife Ann 54, daughter Susan 22, and sons Charles 15 and Alexander 11, and servants Mary Balmers 21, dairymaid, and Susan Hutchison 16, domestic.

Creoch was again put up for sale, and the new owner is also named Tennant.

1871 George Tennant 35, landowner and farmer of 285 acres of which 254 are arable. Wife Elenor 32, daughters Virginia S 5, Agnes 3 and sons John 2 and Henry W under 1.  They have Margaret McMurtrie 18and Marion McMurtrie 21, dairymaid, and Helen Somerville 18, nurse, and Francic Keagan 15, agricultural labourer.

The farm is sold in 1879.

1881 census shows James Howie 49, and his wife Agnes Howie (Wallace) 51, farming 268 acres employing 3 men and 3 women. They also have their three sons John 27, Robert W 19, and Thomas 15, and daughter Elizabeth 21
1891 James and Agnes Howie with son Thomas 25, and servants Maggie Murphy 20, Annie Jardine 22, and George Frost 18.
1901 Thomas Howie 35, with visitors Robert Gibb 25, Maggie Brown Gibb 4, Elizabeth Wilson Gibb 2 and Annie Douglas Gibb under 1.  He has William Howatson 21, ploughman, Agnes McCartney domestic 20, and Janet Rankin 14, a nurse domestic.
