William Hamilton of Chang, aged about 27 in May 1743, gave evidence to Cumnock Kirk Session in relation to Marjory Murdoch, an unwed mother.
1743 baptism William Mitchell, son lawful to John Mitchell and Marion Black in Chang was baptised February 4th 1743
1786 baptism Jean Wight lawful daughter of John Wight and Janet Porteous in Chang born on the 15th and baptised on the 18th May 1786
1791 baptism Sarah lawful daughter to John MacCrae and Jean Cowan in Chang was born on 31 day of May and baptised on 1 June

Land taken from Changue to build the Ayr Cumnock Railway, which opened in 1872.
The railway created the site for Glengyron Row as it cut through the top of Bankend. First record for Glengyron Row was in 1872.
Amalgamated with part of Glengyron and Cairn farms in 1983.

The Stevenson family took on Changue in Nov 1867 , with the Wardrop family moving to Garlaff. Crofthead was added to the tenancy in the 1920s. An enlarged unit consisting of parts of Cairn and Glengyron was sold in March 2019.
