AUCHINLECK CATTLE SHOW. 

According to previous arrangement, the competition of Dairy Stock upon the estate of Auchinleck, patronized and encouraged by the proprietor, Sir James Boswell, Bart., took place at Auchenleck, on the 28th ultimo, when, after very careful inspection, the Judges- Messrs George Vallance, Glengyran, Cumnock ; John Craig, Polquhoys, Now Cumnock ; and H. Wilson, Strandhead, Tarbolton-awarded the premiums follow :- For the best aged Milk Cow Upper Ward-1st, Mr James Auchinleck; 2d, Mr James Crichton, Auchinleck. For the best aged Milk Cow in Middle Ward -1st, Sir James Boswell, Bart., Auchinleck ; 2d, Mr James Smith, Thirdpart. For the best aged Milk Cow in Lower Ward-1st, Mr James Gibson, Syke ; 2d, Mr John Woodburn, Spierston. For comparatively the best aged Milk Cow in three different Ward;-1st, Mr James Crichton, Auchinleek; 2d Mr James Gibson, Syke. For the best three-year-old Cow in Upper Ward-1st, Mr John Mair, Carbellow ; 2d, Mr H. Dalgleish Templand. For the best three-year-old Cow in Middle Ward-1st, Mr John Sillars, High-house; 2d Mr James Sloan, Breckenhill. For the best three-year old Cow in Lower Ward-1st, Sir W. Hood, Hoodston ; 2d, Mr John Reid, Wallaxton. For comparatively the best three-year-old Cow in the different Wards-1st, Mr W. Hood, Hoodston ; 2d, Mr John Mair, Carbellow. For the best one-year-old Bull in upper Ward-1st, Mr John Mair, Carbellow 2d, Mr H. Gibson, Stonebridge. For the best one-year-old Bull in Middle Ward-1st, Mr James Sloan, Breckenhill; 2d, Mr Mungo Lennox, Langholm. For the best one-year-old Bull in Lower Ward-1st, Mr George M'Kerrow, Auchenbay; 2d, Mr William Watson, Clews. For comparatively the best one-year-old Bull -1st, George M'Kerrow, Auchenbay; 2d, Mr James Sloan, Breckenhill. For the best extra Stock-1st, Wm Gibson, Auchinleck; 2d, Thos. Campbell, Hill. There were shown upwards of 200 head cattle for the three different Wards, and the Judges agreed as to the general improvement of the Stock, After the business of the day, the Society, along with the Judges and those friendly to the institution, partook of an excellent dinner in the Boswell Arms, Auchinleck - David Murdoch, Braehead, in the chair-and spent the evening in a very social and agreeable manner.
