Horse Tax 1797-98 Hugh Simson, Cauldside, one horse
1855 VR James Murray of Dumfries Arms Hotel farmed several farms in town including Culside.
Location 1905 shown as 2 cottages in Glaisnock Street. The cottages were on Glaisnock Street round about where George McTurk Court was or the 'new' station before that so the farm was probably in that area too but can't find it on the old maps so possibly demolished before the railway was built.
