Horse Tax 1797-98 John Douglas, West Garrieve ( renamed Hall of Mansfield), 2 horses.

The 1841 census for Hall, shows James Richmond 40 farmer Hannah (Johnstone) 33 8 children and a 16 year old male servant
The 1851 census shows James Tennant 46 farming 117 acres in Hall employing 1 labourer alongside his wife Jean 44, son John 16, daughter Christina 10, 1 male agricultural labourer, 1 female house servant and daughter Mary Tennant age 14yrs.
The 1861 census shows Jean Tennant 54 farming 130 acres in Hall of Mansefield along with her son John 26, daughter Christina 25, 1 male servant and 1 female servant.
The 1871 census shows George Patrick 60 and agricultural labourer and his wife Margaret (Riddal) 56 living in Mansefield Hall.
1881 William Gilmour 71 and wife Catherine 71 are farming 140 acres arable employing 1 man and 2 girls.  Their grand daughter Janet Gilmour 20 is the dairymaid, and grandson Thomas Gilmour 17 is an apprentice joiner.
The 1891 census shows William McKenzie 47 farming Hall of Mansefield with his wife Margaret (Kirk) 45, daughter Sarah 13, son Thomas 11, 1 female General Domestic Servant and 1 male Farm Servant. 
The 1901 census show William McKenzie 57 farmer and his wife Margaret 55, son Thomas 21, Flora McKenzie (Houston) 91 mother living on own means and 1 female general domestic servant.

1885 Valuation Rolls Owner - Lady Jane Bailey, tenant William MacKenzie.  
1915 prop Sir James Stuart Menteith, tenant William Sloan.  
1935 tenant John Sloan.

The landowner lived at nearby Mansfield House.
