CUMNOCK CATTLE SHOW. The annual show of cattle and horses was held on Thursday in a field near to the Dumfries Arms Hotel. The day was tine, the stock large and superior, and the people numerous. The judges were :—Messrs Allan, of Munnoch, Dairy ; Howie, of Burnhouses, Kilmarnock ; and Hemmen, Ayr, whose principal awards were as follows : Aged cow. calved-1 Andrew Wilson, Auchingilsie ; 2 James Murray, Muir; 3 R. & P. CUMNOCK CATTLE SHOW. annual show of cattle, horses, &c., in connection with the above society was held on Thursday in a field adjoining the Dumfries Anns Inn. The day was bitterly cold, but kept dry, and farm work being in a forward stats there was a large attendance of the agricultural population from this and the neighbouring parishes. The cattle shown were very much better in quality than we have ever seen exhibited on any previous occasion. There was, however, a little deficiency in horses.
